For more than 70 years, they have been making innovative technologies, the highest quality and attractive designs accessible to many people – with the likes of bestsellers such as the Beetle, the Golf and the all-electric ID. family for the new world of mobility. Volkswagen is present in over 140 markets and employs more than 170,000 employees.

The Challenge

Volkswagen’s projects demanded the creation of 3D car models requiring true-to-life accuracy and materials that looked and felt authentic. The user experience had to be immersive, offering engaging interactions that allowed users to explore and become familiar with various models. Creating visually compelling environments to stage the cars, integrating Augmented Reality features, and fostering meaningful community interaction were all essential to ensuring that each digital experience delivered value and excitement to the audience.

Some of the projects that we have created in the last few years are shown in the examples below.

Virtual Studio

We developed a 3d experience for mobile and desktop devices based on our proprietary WebGL technology for Volkswagen. It lets users interact with all car models available on the Mexican market in real time 3d, including features like trunk loading, hotspots, animations, x-ray, driving and Augmented Reality.

ID.3 Studio

When the ID.3 model was launched on the German market, we developed the ID.3 Studio for Volkswagen, adding accessories which could be attached to the car model and the ID.3 lifestyle collection of products. A full 3D background campaign environment was created for staging the model.

Marvel Ant Man Campagin

For the cross-marketing initiative of Volkswagen with Marvel’s Ant Man movie “Quantumania” we created a 3D web page featuring the movie’s main character and with the Volkswagen ID.4. The 3D experience contains car customization, character scaling, interactive driving and Augmented Reality

Volkswagen R Studio

The Volkswagen R brand for high-performance vehicles has more than 6.5 million followers on social media. We developed solutions that incorporate specific interaction features for the R community and fans of the brand with sharing features for high reach and viral marketing.
