Our company is looking for a 3D graphics programmer with a strong maths background, including knowledge of trigonometry, linear algebra and analytical geometry. We prefer candidates with experience in WebGL and Three.js or at least another 3D visualisation tool such as Unity or Unreal. A solid understanding of real-time 3D engine functionality and principles is a must. A background in game development may be helpful. In addition, experience with WebXR and AR/VR is a plus.
Ideal candidates will also have experience with shader languages for shader development, preferably GLSL, as well as a basic understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) theory. This means a general knowledge of PBR rendering principles (e.g. energy conservation and microfacet model).
Our standard tech stack includes JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js, but alternatively experience with other programming languages such as C# or C++ is also acceptable.
Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in graphics programming or procedural 3D geometry and materials. Strong problem solving skills are essential.

The official German name of the vocational training programme is “Fachinformatiker/in der Fachrichtung Anwendungsentwicklung”
The dual vocational training system combines theory with practice: you learn the theoretical basics of your industry in vocational school. In the company, you put your knowledge to practice. The vocational training usually starts on August or September 1st of each year and has a duration of three years.
Due to the school-based part of the training programme, applicants must have a good written and spoken knowledge of German language. The school education part takes place at the mmbbs Hannover, you can find a general overview on the mmbbs website here.
